Urban Tribe Stockholm

Well we're back home safe and sound from Jamaica! The trip will take some time to digest - I think we all feel that it has been the greatest trip of our lives as well as the hardest. The schedule has been gruelling indeed, but the blatant success of the trip makes it more than worth it. The reception we have gotten from the Jamaican audience is nothing short of fantastic; we never expected to be embraced in this way. And we're talking about the toughest crowd in the world here; more than once we have seen them greet Jamican performers with absolute silience or even booing. So we are more than pleased with the trip! And ofcourse the tender care that our Jamaican friends Howard Hendriks, Alkebulan, Richie Innocent, Tyehimba and our faithful driver Mr. Callum have provided for us. Nuff respect! You guys are the bomb and hopefully this will mark the beginning of a great and longlasting collaboration and friendship. For further details check the "UTS Blog" section of this site. Unfortunately my MacBook got stolen in Kingston so I haven't been able to upload any pictures as of yet (since many of them are lost) but we have 16 hours of solid footage for our documentary so all is not lost by any means. Will be uploading the pics left in the camera ASAP.
